UPDATE – Phase 2 Co-Funded payroll scheme

Further to the Voisin Law’s update last Thursday (9 April), Phase 2 of the Co-Funded payroll scheme has been widened.  “Jersey Business” has produced a helpful schedule listing those industries included on the widened scheme which can be found here: https://www.jerseybusiness.je/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Inclusions-with-SIC-Codes-as-at-09.04.2020.pdf

The Scheme will cover employees who are listed on the Social Security Contribution Schedule in February 2020 and who remained in employment during the period.

To apply for the Scheme, your business must have experienced material detriment due to the Covid-19 restrictions.  The material detriment is 30% loss in turnover during the relevant period.  Applications for Phase 2 will close at the end of June 2020.
