Stephanie specialises in all aspects of employment law in both contentious and non-contentious matters and has presented to clients and the industry at large in relation to Jersey’s discrimination legislation as well as assisting during teaching sessions on the Jersey Employment Law course. Stephanie also advises in relation to a broad range of contentious matters and is experienced in personal injury and medical negligence claims.


In addition, Stephanie advises local and international clients on all matters pertaining to commercial transactions such as banking and acquisitions and advises numerous fiduciary service providers on, amongst other things, corporate and trust affairs. Such commercial knowledge gives Stephanie an advantage when dealing with all aspects of commercial litigation. In this regard Stephanie has assisted clients in all court levels in Jersey.


Stephanie has advised and assisted in relation to a number of refinancings and restructurings including the refinancing of a large hotel management and development company in London and the securitisation of local subsidiaries of a large public listed company.

Stephanie has also advised in relation to the refinancing of a local, family-owned company and advised a local company on their acquisition of a UK commercial property holding company.

Stephanie has also assisted in the ratification of a distribution made by the subsidiary of a public listed company in contravention of the Companies Law in the first ever court application of its type.

Within the dispute resolution department Stephanie has handled personal injury claims of varying degrees including medical negligence claims and has advised clients in relation to local and multi-jurisdictional contentious probate matters in conjunction with Voisin’s probate department.
