AREAS OF EXPERTISE:
Helen is a highly experienced legal assistant who has worked extensively in the Jersey legal profession for over 25 years. Helen joined the Voisin Law Dispute Resolution team in 2022.
Helen advises clients on all aspects of family and children law; including pre- and post-nuptial agreements, divorce, child maintenance and contact. She has significant experience in advising clients (predominately plaintiffs) in personal injury and medical negligence claims, obtaining settlements of significant value. She also advises local individuals and businesses (both plaintiffs and defendants) on a wide range of contractual disputes. Helen also deals with Trade Mark applications and renewals.
Helen also has considerable experience in compliance and corporate governance and advises clients on these issues. She is the firm’s Deputy MLRO, Deputy MLCO and is a member of the Business Risk Committee.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Helen originally joined Michael Voisin & Co in 1995 for 5 years before returning to Voisin Law 22 years later.
She studied Law at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London and holds the International Diploma in Compliance from the University of Manchester Business School.
Helen is currently a member of:
1. Jersey Family Law Association;
2. Association of Personal Injury Lawyers; and
3. International Compliance Association.
