Litigation Secretary

 

Voisin Law LLP wish to recruit a Litigation Secretary to assist the Litigation team by providing a comprehensive and efficient secretarial service.

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Answering the telephone and assisting with client queries
2. Arranging meetings and managing the individual team members’ diaries
3. Liaising with the Courts and relevant parties upon a new criminal law instruction
4. Billing
5. Audio and copy typing of legal documentation
6. Managing internal and external e-mails in fee earners’ absences
7. Scanning and filing documents
8. Arranging business travel for fee earners
9. Preparing documents for court
10. Typing documents dictated by Bighand
11. Providing cover when other secretaries are absent and generally as and when required

Jersey Advocate

 

Voisin Law LLP wish to recruit a Jersey Advocate to join its expanding Dispute Resolution team.

The successful candidate will be required to advise clients in relation to a wide range of contentious matters and, in particular, matrimonial, criminal and personal injury. The candidate will have conduct of most of the firm’s Legal Aid obligations in addition to private client work and will be required to attend before the local Courts.

The candidate will be expected to work independently as well as working as part of a team and to assist with business development and marketing.

Salary will be in line with market rates and commensurate with experience.
